Overview
Shotree ("we", "us") values your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use the Shotree service.
Information we collect
Account information: email address and basic profile collected through the Clerk authentication service at registration. Usage data: project creation history, generation counts, and credit transaction records. Uploaded content: reference images uploaded by users for AI storyboard generation. Payment information: processed through the Creem payment platform — we do not directly store sensitive payment details such as credit card numbers.
How we use information
To provide, maintain, and improve the Shotree service. To process payments and manage credit accounts. To send service-related notifications (e.g., account changes, system maintenance). To prevent abuse and ensure service security.
AI processing
Reference images uploaded by users are sent to third-party AI services (Google Gemini) for analysis and image generation. These images are used only for immediate processing and are not used by the AI provider for model training. Generated storyboard images are stored in Supabase Storage and associated with the user's account.
Data storage and security
User data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. File storage uses Supabase Storage. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect user data, including transport encryption (TLS) and access controls.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services: Clerk — authentication and user management Supabase — database and file storage Google Gemini — AI image analysis and generation Creem — payment processing Data handling by each third-party service is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact hi@shotree.com. Deleting your account will also delete associated project data and generated content.
Policy updates
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through in-service notifications or email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
